I'd bet if you asked, most Czechs consider themselves to be Western European. Besides, France also "refuses to recognize the ICC" when it comes to war crimes accusations against French citizens. Have you forgotten about that little Western European democracy? PS: Doesn't "aligning" oneself with Western European democracies really mean, in your usage, adopting Western European policies? What's wrong with aligning ourselves with Asian democracies like Turkey, Japan and India, or Americas democracies like Mexico and Chile?

Gimme a break, zonder! FRANCE, the country you love and adore, signed the treaty BUT TOOK EXCEPTION TO IT FOR ITS OWN CITIZENS! It agreed to turn over the citizens of OTHER COUNTRIES it found to the jurisdiction of a politically motivated kangaroo court but refused to hand over French citizens. The US, OTOH, refused to hand over ANYONE to such a farce. And you have the unmitigated gall to claim FRANCE has the high moral ground here? A fair analogy would be France refusing to hand over Jews with French citizenship to the Nazis but happily handing over Brits, Americans, Belgians, .... Cut the crap!
