China doesn't have to attack the US militarily when they can screw the US in the economic arena.

If present policies continue, within a generation, China (and India) will be leading economies of the world. The US will be in decline and like many Third World nations today, will have a small segment of population that is filthy rich and a large percentage that is in abject poverty (the looming -- and in some cases ongoing -- health-care, retirement, education funding, budget deficit, national debt crises clearly point to that).
