Supply siders like Forbes carry a lot of clout with the Bushies and Greenies.

The recent rally in stocks and bonds also gives the Fed more slack to tighten further IMHO.

I agree with that. I think Steve Forbes has a bad habit of making oracular pronouncements that are no more than his hunches. Maybe he considers it his duty as an editor to voice opinions. Only a month ago he announced that oil would drop back to $30 a barrel. Maybe it will, but not yet.
