My point, if you didn't consciously miss it, was that I believe in personal freedoms including the freedom to inhale, snort, pop, gulp or otherwise consume anything an adult wants to for recreation. As long as he does not hurt anyone else in the process. I stay clear of them and the people who use and sell them, thank you. You? I even quit smoking (cigarettes) exactly five months ago, as you well know. Do you really think I am into drugs? :-) The sad truth re drugs is that you very probably would not even notice if everyone around you in a bar was on something. You would see some people wearing sunglasses at night and think they are trying to be cool. Instead, they are hiding their dilated pupils from peering eyes. Or you would notice people with water bottles or soft drinks in their hands, with no apparent interest in alcoholic drinks, and think they are being "good" :-) No wonder you people are so backward. You clearly have NO CONCEPTION of the huge industry that can be built on the back of an incredibly complex income tax code. Yes, we are savages who prefer the simple life -g- WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU EUROPEANS ALL THOSE YEARS ANYWAY? I think I was working in Istanbul at the time. Nobody asked me, I assure you. Clinton built the biggest financial bubble in US history. Like all bubbles, it burst. You SURE you want to get into "destruction"?
