<As the Bushies are discovering, less and less people actually want to be in the military if they KNOW they're going to have to kill or be killed by strangers they really have no beef with for some purpose they haven't been told.> Especially when they realize they were conned and there weren't any dreaded weapons of mass destruction and young Iraqi women aren't garlanding them and offering to marry them. When they see Halliburton's bottom line and compare it with their bottom on the line, they can see that the benefits are not going to those doing the dirty work. The USA has a passing opportunity to lead the world to a reconstituted UN which would benefit the USA more than any other country [since the USA has the biggest international trade presence and advanced economic transnational system requiring civilization on an international scale]. But it seems that opportunity will be frittered away. Mqurice
