Ionesco, If you have me and others on <ignore>, we cannot post to you in public fora either. CGB has banned me from her thread, which is okay. I have no desire to venture into territory where I am obviously unwelcome. These offshoot threads are the only places left to us for expression of our opinions and ideas in answer to what is posted on the threads from which we are precluded from posting our counterpoints. FWIW, I have ALWAYS been vehemently opposed to "moderated" threads. I have no one on <ignore> (and never have). Why is this thread's name disturbing to you? The inspiration was/is a straight-arrow, right-on person who has, over the years, demonstrated unfailing logic and discernment in his posts, seasoned with generous dashes of acerbic humor. I believe you and he have been on friendly terms. To your and his credit, I have never seen a cross word exchanged between you and Mr. Barrett. - Holly

"The reason is disturbing." That claptrap doesn't work on me. Grannies bans are "disturbing". What you, Grannie & others post on the "feelies" thread is "disturbing". The reason you pretend to be "disturbed" is that you want us silenced. You can't make a reasoned or logical point so you resort to the personal & emotional as if that places you on some moral high ground. Well, I read your thread & I know you & your peers don't hold the high ground. If anything you hold the "disturbing" ground. And it's fair game here.
