There are some groups and individuals trying to break up the media cartels that now exist, but this is a problem that many are only dimly aware of. They're too busy shining up their Hummer for the next big trip down to the gas station. Nixon and Reagan started it.. the stripping down of laws and regulations that helped guarantee diverse sources of information and opinion. Fortunately blogs and internet news sources didn't exist back then, or we'd have some of the same problems online.
