"You mean give the terrorists a date so they can lay back and wait us out." Nope thats what i dont mean. Yours is the typical and naive response every time this idea is trotted out. Incented iraqis will work their arses off to be able to defend themslves by the date. They will either succeed or fail. Right now they hide behind us and try to avoid the hard stuff. If you give them a year, perhaps they rise to the occasion. What you are realy saying is that you dont have any faith in iraqis being able to overcome the insurgency unless the US stays for 25 years.
