I originally favored the war. The WMDs were at the core of my support along with a possible connection to terrorist that would enable saddam to pass weapons to them and have them use them without a clear iraqi footprint. For deterrence to work, the aggressor nation must know the consequenes. I thought with wmds saddam could confuse things enough for him to believe he could launch and escape. This was possible to me even though terrorist goals and saddam goals were different.
I have supported the president as you do up until most recently. In a democracy, i believe folks must keep reevaluatin the situation and cast their votes and express their opinions accordingly. Mike
