There is no doubt in my mind that if we had a draft the US Army would not be 42,000 men short and our National Guard would not be crumbling.

And there is no doubt in my mind that if we had a draft there would be draft riots going on in Seattle, NYC, etc. Instigated by the left to try to bring down the government.

There is "that which is seen, and that which is not seen."

Well, what is our total population? I seem to think its around 300 million?? If we cant keep our services full requiring maybe TOPS of 2 million, maybe we dont deserve to be a superpower anymore? In any event, short of a major war I doubt we will see a draft again. jdn
