Why honor religion preaching death?

Jun. 7, 2005 12:00 AM

For years I worked in foreign countries. Saudi Arabia was one of these countries. On more than one occasion I witnessed Saudi officials removing Bibles from incoming passengers' luggage and angrily throwing them on the floor and kicking them out of the way.

What I want to know is this: Why are we Christians always subject to a double standard from the Muslims? They have their "holy city" of this, their "holy city" of that, "holy days," "holy men," etc.

We, of course, are expected to honor all of their "holy" whatevers, while they treat our religious places and things with complete disdain.

I, for one, have had it with the people trying to kill us, who tell the world how bad we are for not honoring the very religion that is causing them to want to kill us. - R. Wayne Corbett, Surprise
