But of course it is, what kind of fool would believe otherwise? An alien asking for a visa should have no "rights" to admission under US law. Why should he? If the present US Code says he does then it should be changed. There is no such right granted in the Constitution. The biggest menace to our way of life is not "peak oil" the economy or terrorists; it is liberalism. Go to an immigration booth in Panama, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Mexico, ect. and act a fool and see what happens to you. You will be admitted all right, to a very rough jail cell under deportation hold and there you will stay until arrangements can be made, at your expense to return you here. I watched Filipino immigration deport a French guy telling him when he asked what was the problem "because you look like a stinking hippy". He was deported for his appearance, the offensive aspect being shoulder length hair and a general scruffy appearance. In Belize I watched checkpoint immigration handcuff a Guatemalan to a tree for trying to slip around the checkpoint. After I left they probably shot him and left him in the jungle. Even Mexico gives you a pretty good going over, even if your documents are in order. There is hope though. A Dutch friend of mine was deported not long ago and treated like a dog, held in an Atlanta lock up with some real ruffians for three months. He is back in Holland now and believe it or not has a newfound respect for this country. And he has lived here for nearly ten years. This is a guy with multiple advanced degrees and speaks better English than I do. Slagle
