I always thought the controversy was overblown.....my disgust is directed at simpletons like AS who disparage the SBVTs who were also decorated veterans. As anyone who has ever been under fire can tell you....there can be as many versions of events as there are persons under that stress.....Couple that with Kerry's exaggeration of his exploits (such as the Xmas in Cambodia story)and I tend to give the edge to the SBVTs. In any event, the events in question are long past and there is no way to ever truly resolve the issues with ultimate clarity.. J.
