"I have enough credit cards as it is anyways." - If there are untapped offers of low-interest balance transfers for x months or even "life of balance", there is almost no such thing as "enough credit cards". Carry trade. Essentially free money. (HELOCs can be the same.) Credit unused can be viewed as an opportunity cost, but also must be weighed against potential impact if/when shopping for job, insurance, mortgage, security clearance, etc. S
