Wrong time of the year for moose hunting. Customs needs to add a script for totally weird situations like this. They sure look dumb now.

energyplay Re: "he is a citizen" Ok, my mistake and in that case there was no need for my tirade. I re-read the article and even though it doesn't state his nationality (typical omission of THE MOST important point in most of these kinds of news stories) it could be that he is from here. If so then I guess his case is a routine police matter rather than an immigration issue. If he is one of ours then the Canadians are at fault for allowing the nutcase into their country. <g> Slagle
