Reinstate the draft and the streets will be full. Our citizens don't know any killed in Iraq personally like in 'Nam.

We should have had them (huge protests) before we attacked Iraq. The difference between now and then: The draft, big time. The all volunteer army enables the great bulk of unthinking Americans to devote spare time and energy to shining up the Hummer for the big drive down to the gas station. If Joe Sixpack's sons and daughters had been called up by the thousands, there'd be a bit more interest in this "fixing the intelligence around the policy" business.
