Listen to yourself. You're the virus guy. With politics as with viruses, it's critical to have an accurate analysis of your circumstances if you hope to be effective in dealing with them. I never said that it being "just money" makes it all ok. Popular culture is still soporific. And the makers of popular culture are still the same people. But to suggest an overarching intelligence beyond even the legal definition of conspiracy is to give them too much credit. They are venal enough as it is, but they aren't evil geniuses.
