If you can walk on hot coals while juggling 4 tennis balls in a high wind, you can become daytrader.

If you can spend millions in other peoples money on crummy stocks and not worry in the least about the outcome you can become a fund manager.

If you predict the path, speed, and exact landfall of the next tornado nobody will believe you.

But if you say the Dow will end the year near 12000 perhaps 50% of investors will believe you. Why is that?
