Because honest reporting shows both sides of the story. For instance, yes it's true that Israelis have gone overboard in their dealings with Palestinians fighting against them. But it is also true that Palestinians send suicide bombers to blow up pizza and ice cream parlors. So a news story that claims that Israelis are brutalizing the Palestinians without also claiming that Palestinians are terrorizing Israeli civilians would be highly unbalanced. Then on top of that, the ANN will sometimes just broadcast Israeli soldiers beating up Palestinians for hours with no text or verbiage. That isn't news. That is propaganda with the intent to incite.
