What will amaze an outsider visiting a place like Bombay, is that there will be a person living in a hut in a shantytown, with no private toilet facilities, but you look at the roof of the hut, and you will see a satellite dish there.

Those living in the "good" sections are kidding themselves about cholera and typhoid. Isn't it amazing how entertainment is the first thing people spend money on? Same here in the states. People screaming about paying for health care are making sure their $50 a month cable bills are paid.
