Dems laugh when the republicans target blacks and especially hispanics. But if they can get the vote out and even if it raises total vote to 15% from 10% in the case of blacks, it can be extremely important. Dems are trying to do the same with regard to the christian right and catholics where helping the poor is always a big issue. If they could only lose the abortion issue, they might have a shot. I think the big issue in the next elections will be stem cell where i think the public breaks about 3-1 against bushes stand. Mike
