The initial impact of AMDs significant advantages in the processor space will likely only manifest themselves in a few months. Also Intel has had the high margin notebook space basically all to itself with the Pentium M.

This will start to change this quarter with AMD Turions appearing on the scene. On the server side, AMD now has a decided advantage both on the speed and heat side and I expect AMD to gradually gain marketshare there.

I agree with Fleck's recent point not play directly against Intel but to play against Intel via AMD.
