They are more expensive and less affordable than ever, and the cost of education at public universities is taking off. If you want your kid to go to a truly elite school like W did forget it. Not all emergency rooms are good providers of treatment and many of those emergencies are a direct result of lack of care available at an easier to treat stage of illness. Medicare, fewer and fewer doctors accept it and it is brutally underfunded. You are the one who is nuts or just ignorant about what is happening to these and other social programs.
