Do you think the idea of a country based on a population's ethnicity deserves American support (and if so, why?)? There is no country of Palestine. Israel is a Jewish country with laws set up so that it is a homeland for the Jews. Do you, as an American believer in "all people are created equal" think that the US should support a country which thinks that some people (the Jews) are entitled to rights which others (perhaps you and me) are not?? Answer the question!!
