IMO, kids under the age of 20 are off limits, not that this prevented rightwingers from attacking Chelsea Clinton's looks. If, however, they break the law then that becomes public. OTOH, adults 20 and older and particularly those who campaign for Mom or Dad are absolutely fair game. If they want to go off and hide then it's one thing but Laura is out spouting policy in the middle east AND the Cheney's came right out and said she should run for president. It's pure hypocrisy that the Cheney's whined that their daughter the lesbian shouldn't have been brought up by Kerry in the campaign. However, their 30+ year old daughter was a gay advocate for Coors AND a senior member of her Dad's campaign. That's pure hypocrisy. Them thar's the breaks. Politics is an ugly blood sport but the rewards of winning are unbelievably huge. If you want to be King or Queen or consort and get all the perks, you get all the cream pies and eggs as well.
