"The food stuffs doled out diminished the masses revolted stopped respecting the priests and building non sense." Great combination - subsidized food on the table and control of the masses by religion. That's what traditional Islam was supposed to do, to teach the masses the discipline to be subservient and become the source of low cost labor for the elites. Pakistan is an example, but so are many Muslim countries.

I can't find the corresponding posts since I wrote them all in 2000, 2001,... Again, my forecast was bang on target as the euro is now undergoing a crisis similar to that of the Argentine peso...
