Reporting is when a reporter speaks to a news event and presents who the parties were in the conflict, what both parties were fighting for and the result of the fight. News reporting's intent is to inform and educate.

Propaganda is when only one side is presented and the other side is vilified. Propaganda's intent is to inflame and incite.

If you turn to Al-Jazeera and ANN and you see nothing but picture of Israelis beating up Palestinians with no words or context, no reporter presenting the story, just blood and gore, do you really think that is news? If so, you are horribly misquided and there really isn't anything more for us to debate on this subject.

As far as self-determination, the Palestinians could have declared sovereignty at any time during the last 50 years. They have not. No one is stopping them. They already have a UN resolution that sanctioned the creation of two states in Palestine, one for the Jews and one for Palestinians. The Jews claimed theirs; the Palestinians have not. Palestinians have only themselves to blame.
