I would like to see an equitable tax system.

What would be more equitable than the majority deciding what they themselves are willing to pay and then the government keeping it's spending within those limits? This is what I suggested several years ago in case you missed it.

Instead what we have is spending based on what the majority votes a small minority will pay and then borrowing even more to pay for it's bloated programs. There's almost no aspect of everyday life in which the government doesn't intrude. You advocate giving them even more money with which to do this.

I'm all for getting the Federal government out of all but the most basic function it was designed to provide, which is providing for the national defense. What are the chances that will happen here? Nil! We have a populace which continually demands that we expand the role of government, that the government is the sole fix for every problem real or imagined. You should know this, you live in the state with the most intrusive government, it's no wonder you are so miserable living there.

People like yourself want a gold-plated police-state to monitor the drug intake and access to drugs for various types of addicts. All pretexted on the sob story that addicts have little self-control, even when sober.

People like Tradelite want lavish government subsidies for the over-housing industry because there's allegedly a nation-wide "shortage" of mini-mansions.

I think you both should be forced to pay punishing tax-rates to self-fund your grandiose schemes. Let the punishment fit the crime, as it were.

That would put a tight bridle on your loose tongue and your constant demands.

LOL !!!

what a sorry statement, a sure sign of becoming an old fart whose guilt filled life is having strange effects as your sunset years arrive...

equitable tax system ?

what crock and crap is that ?

equitable to whom ?? a bunch of out of control egomaniac politicians who will sell their mother to the proper bidder in exchange for 'power-votes' ?

the only EQUITABLE tax system starts with PUBLIC officials WITHOUT special privileges who actually WORK under the SAME rules as a public corporation, NOT protected under some voodoo cloak deemed as "public office"

then it follows with a flat tax EQUAL TO ALL based on specific tasks that government * without being bloated by the influence of special interest groups * diverting attention of said government from the basic essential needs such as domestic police, a court system, and protection against foreign invasion.

it is NOT the function of government to take care of every single need and demand of every one, especially based on the needs of the lowest possible standard of capabilities group...

of course it will never happen ... there is to much common sense and logic to it... particularly with people like you who deemed not ONLY YOUR obligation, but that of everyone else (regardless if one agrees t it or not) to take care of such lowest standard group... filled with derelicts who see government as the mother of all sucking tits...

That would put a tight bridle on your loose tongue and your constant demands.

ROFLMAO

and WHO will put a bridle to YOUR LOST tongue and demands ???

or...

are you exempt because you look for the good of the DAMNED PUBLIC good ??

punishment tax ?

LOL !!!!

how so guilt-filled pathetic...
