re: DGO.L - Dragon Oil

I'm actually glad that they will continue to trade. A takeout could have brought a quick 30% gain. But it would have robbed us from a company that I view still as having a 3-5bagger opportunity from here.. (like Tullow and Burren in the old days)

re: MASSIVE SPIKE on the LONG OIL FUTURE !!

Long term (Dec 2010) future now above $54 and no end in sight. Contango now maxing out Feb (extended from Dec) with a current price of $57.70 for the Feb 2006 future

Just got home and found this table.. Essentially the long end of the term structure of oil futures jumped mightily over the past couple of sessions while the pundits where grilling the front end with vodoo like shrepnel shots from the "usual suspect" rags..

Meanwhile the Dec 2010 and Dec 2011 WTI futures jumped to $54 and no end in sight. China just started to move closer to building an SPR (Strategic Petroleum Reserve) of their own. I heard they will start filling in August...

Take a look yourself ! If this isn't meaningful I don't know what is... Bottom line - hold on tight to your belove oil stocks, particularly the reserve rich E&P wonderkids...
