It's not surprising that 6000 children die every day because of diseases from unclean water. I watched a documentary recently about how private corporations in South America are taking over the water supply. Unlike Americans, many of whom can afford to buy water, third world peasants definitely cannot. I think water is like air and sunshine and gazing at the moon--priceless parts of being alive and living on this planet. A basic human right. I don't think most people realize exactly how many deaths corporate behavior cause, in fact. These stories are rarely even covered in the U.S. news.
