Ranting is fine about ideas or widely held beliefs, or even behavior generally. I don't think people understand the distinction between ranting about an idea, or the way the public climate is moving, or about general behavior, and attacking people personally. Talking about what "people" might or might not understand is not personal to any one person- see how that works? I find that often words "come back to me" in very bizarre ways, which show me that people did not understand my point.

That people may feel attacked because they feel they are their ideas, does not make posts about ideas, or demographics, personal attacks. IMO

I hate personal attack posts. I think they are terrible. That statement is not a personal attack. I think we can criticize actions with attaching them to a "victim" we need to attack along with the actions.
