I certainly want AMAT to succeed in capturing part of this lucrative market, but am concerned about the track record.

I guess Orbit and Opal worked out (I wonder why so much of this technology is being developed in Israel?).
I understand KLAC has a facility for this segment in Israel.

But even KLAC is not perfect - small cap RTEC continues to control the metal metrology market.

When looking closely it seems nobody (AMAT et al) is perfect - they all seem to have their strong points, weak points, failures as well as success stories
