You were differentiating between identity and POV. That was how you tried to argue, as I understood it, that a pastor who opposed gay rights was a bigot but a gay who opposed pastors who opposed gay rights wasn't a bigot.

I'm still not clear why you think one is a bigot and the other isn't, except that you agree with the one and disagree with the other.

I was pointing out that your perceived distinction between identity and POV is not a nice clean line, and in fact is often no line at all. That extends to many things beyond the gay rights issue; it's an aspect of human nature.
