Tell that to tens of thousands of vets with minor wounds who got Purple Hearts, you creep. Kerry didn't "give himself" a medal, they are awarded. Soldiers can't give themselves medals, you nincompoop.

Hey, you try going into hot combat zones every day and see how you like it when some fat ass chickenhawks tell you your combat wound isn't big enough to get a PH.

Also, you rightwing hypocrites lampooned Silver Star winner Max Cleland for his three limbs blown off, laughing at him for being a cripple, claiming he was in league with terrorists and lying that he blew himself up.
