However, you missed an important point. Blacks make up 20% of the armed services........much larger than their share of the total US population. Even if they die less than rural, southern whites, the war still has a significant impact on their lives. I wouldn't count on those black, GOP votes.

And I would start worrying about those southern red states with large, white populations in rural areas. Its beginning to look like 2006 may not be the GOP's year.
