There is a change expected from the first half of this year and from last year: 2004 saw growth of close to 50%. Sales in the first half of this year have been pretty flat which was off from earlier expectations/guidance. That was caused primarily by a slowing of orders from Telmex for which a couple analysts took vengeance on Alvarion. In response, Alvarion management took forecasts for sales to Telmex out of their forward guidance altogether, saying that they expected Telmex sales to increase but that they would not factor it in. That left the dumb ass financial analysts 'twisting in the wind' with the only thing left for them to do but to focus on sales outside of Telmex. That left the picture looking good: take out the risk factor and sales still looks to be improving with about 40% growth in the second half and 25%+ growth for the full year.

The trends in the industry look good. Those for Alvarion look good. And the chart TA looks good. It is wasn't for a wishy-washy stock market climate this would be about as strong of a buy as you can get.
