Hold onto your hat! They promised us news before the AGM. But then again we were promised news before the PDAC in March LOL! I just can not understand why CKG is playing one trick pony with La Gitana when they have many other promising projects and lots of cash. They should have work being done on the others as well. It doesn't take a supergeo to run three programs at once. I suppose I'll go cool off a bit and just wait to see what the news has to say. I've kept my core position and held back on buying more for a long time now. No more CKG until I see some news! I'm glad that I've kept my cash free to play others like ETG. Looking at ANO right now- they've been silent for awhile...

Reifel runs his company the way all of them should be run. 99% of the management of all companies trading on stock markets are concerned with one thing,...themselves, their salaries, their jobs, their bonuses,...they could give a chit for the stockholder.

Not saying Reifel cares any more about the stockholder than the rest, but at least he runs this company as an exploration company should be run, with tight control on money (including press and IR bullchit), with good strong geology backing his decisions instead of chasing the latest promotable crap with a weak pulse, with painstaking, backbreaking investigation and planning, and laying the groundwork for proper community relations, political relations, environmental baseline stuff and hopefully greasing the right palms to get the job done.

In the end everyone gets a good reward, if they find something,....no guarantees on finding something as horseshoes up the arse have quite a bit to do with that, but the right group can lessen the odds of finding something where they are digging from 1 in 300 to more like 1 in 10.

Put what you can afford to lose in this one, and ignore it for the next four years or until something happens. Screw off and enjoy your life. Complaining only increases the age lines :-)

There are only a handful of other companies that run in a similar fashion,...know who any of them may be?

CKG and Gold Stocks:

I share your frustration in terms of impatience with my oil and gas stocks. Drill results seem to take forever. As for my golds - they sit as insurance. They are well funded plays with what I see as staying power. Frankly, there are days I do not even know what Chesapeake did - nor do I care - today.

The CC plays are solid value. They do not seem to be the most active on the Venture Exchange.

Bob

PS: Nova Gold - now there is an insurance policy!

PSS: I must admit - I do have a bit of excitement about Bear Creek!
