Please do note that "Iraq's insurgency" does not equal "Al-Qaeda's efforts in Iraq"

Actually, it does. That's the point.

Iraq's "insurgency" is dominated by non-Iraqi terrorists who have flooded over the borders from Saudi Arabia, Syria and Iran. While it has been well established that over 90% of the suicide bombers in Iraq have been foreigners, Al Qaeda terrorists have been organized and operating in Iraq since just after the fall of Baghdad. Ordinary Iraqis, by and large, are not shooting at our soldiers or blowing up shopping centers.

While you may think you're cute in establishing that some of the insurgents are Iraqis, you are wrong on the larger point that Iraq would be at peace and much further along toward a democratic government if not for the interference of thousands of foreign terrorists.

Hey Zonder,
did you know that the "insurgents" aren't Iraqis?

Shocking, eh?
