I just started watching it... got the first four seasons on DVD and have watched the whole first season and some of the second, and I really like it.

One of the last episodes I watched had a young Republican whom I think was supposed to be an Ann Coulter type. With her memorized statistics and her ability to talk over her rival, she mopped the floor with one of the President's staffers on a talk show. The President decided to hire her to his White House, because he liked having a strong contrary presence.

The episode really resonated with me for a couple of reasons:

1. Because the President of the United States went out of his way to hear the "other side" -- think about that in contrast with the current admin...

2. By the end of the episode, after having spent time with the people in the White House she'd been insulting on TV and in her personal life, she not only decided that despite their disagreements, they were really good people who were trying to do the right thing, but that she also wanted to work for the President.

Great, great show.
