It appears a majority of his extended family buys into the Indian relative deal.

It also appears that he made a valiant effort to tie it down by getting credentialed by one of the tribes. With no success. And he is the only family member to try to profit by it.

Where they really have him is on the plagarism.

Anyone who is a responsible genealogist, either amateur or professional, NEVER states something is as a "FOR SURE" unless there is documented evidence in several places. Rather, if it is an "I think", the information is stated as an "I think, or I believe, but it is not yet proven".....

Churchill has been very open about his statements. I haven't read a single "I think" in anything I've read when he was mentioned his "so called Indian ancestry."
