But they have to grab issues people want- like being anti war. That probably would have been a middle of the road issue that the democrats could have taken up, and really motivated people. At the VERY least the majority of people now, who are against the war, would have looked back and said "We should have voted democrat." But all they can do now is look back and say, "Damn, everyone voted for the war. Stupid politicians."

The Dems are already considered whack by over half the country. I'd say they dump Dean, Clinton, Feinstein, Pelosi, Schumer and get back to the middle of the road.
