Such a delight to know that proper grammar isn't completely dead - thanks!

Who forces whom to do what?

"My original DBlend idea: Use forced DC plans and pool a portion of retirement assets so that those who die young can help finance those who might otherwise outlive their assets."

Who forces whom to do what?

The only entity that can force every American to save for retirement is the federal government.

Something has to be done. The baby boomers will draw tremendous resources in their retirement. The Generation Xers may not wish to have 1/4 of their earnings going to support the geezers that didn't bother saving for their own retirement. Even if they are willing to, the drain on the economy will prevent any serious growth from occurring. The failure to deal with retirement income and resource needs will just keep snowballing until it crashes.

How long can we keep sweeping it under the rug? Metaphorically writing, the bulge in the rug is starting to trip people already.
