I hope so too. Unfortunately, in the Arab world, conspiracy theories and the belief in their own infallibility seems to be more the norm, rather than serious introspection. In addition, the world seems to coddle the ME Muslims instead of holding a mirror up to them, and pointing out relentlessly the ME's ugly warts and anti-modernism. That will only delay the day when we can say the turning point has been reached with respect to Muslim introspection bearing fruit in social, political, and economic reform.
