Gee, $40,000 bonus. That's real money. Let's see, 2,000 dead [more or less] out of how many in the services? I suppose about a million. That's one in 500 chance of being killed. Plus many others wounded, but ignoring that. $40,000 x 500 = $20 million. Wow! That's a bargain. People will be signing up flat out rather than hang around on the GM dole lines.
