Well, that's a fine thing to say. I found something squishy about McGovern myself. I have great respect for John Kerry but he was like an inept squash player chasing Bush's shots all over the court.

I am quite proud of our little (literally) local Republican Congressman for taking issue with Bush. Of course, immediately all the rednecks that voted for him say they have been betrayed. But he already had quite a large Democratic constituency anyway so I do not think his seat is in danger.

What we need is some really tough independent thinking Republican S. O. B., a genuine conservative and lover of the Constitution, to take on Bush.
