Too simplistic. It's not Shia & Kurds vs Sunni but Shia & Kurds & most Sunni vs the Baathist & jihadi hardcore types, fighting with imported splodeydopes and Syrian help.

Actually, that is too simplistic. The Shia and Kurds are hardly united, either between each other or even among themselves. Factions are everywhere. The place is a tinderbox. I don't know what a "splodeydope" is, but you could add Iran and Saudia Arabia to your list of helpers without argument from me. Not to mention Turkey waiting in the wings to see what some of the Kurdish factions are going to do.
