Hi Mq -

The aircraft carriers are so pretty, aren't they?

I was so pleased that the Pentagon didn't pass up the chance to show them off after the tsunami, carrying water and food. I've heard and read so many times from grown men and women that their first physical contact with the US was when a GI gave them something to eat when they were hungry, and that it made a powerful, and positive, impression.

I don't believe I've ever met a Kiwi in real life, so to me the first image of a Kiwi will always be you. I like your sense of humor.

Mq, Are you saying that there was no racial bias by the English toward the Maori? I find that hard to believe, considering what was done to the Aborigines of Australia, and the Native Americans here. For some reason, the white Europeans considered themselves to be superior to every other ethnic group on the planet.
