The rightwing's purge at PBS hurts Seseme Street and Elmo. They have also waged war against Square Pants Bob. They do this kind of thing instead of concentrating on health care, deficits, finding a way to get us out of Iraq and cracking down on energy gouging. Same with the Terri Schiavo case. They spent an entire two weeks obsessed with that moronic debate, which of course 75% of the people disagreed with them on. These rightwingers were not elected to attack mainstream moderate values, they were elected to help people with their real problems.
