As long as the left wing of the Democratic party continues to believe in this rot, they haven't a chance in Hell of actually making the changes to their own viewpoints that are needed to turn the Democrats back into a majority party. What happened is that the Democrats lost the votes of the working classes. The reason they lost those votes is because the Democrats no longer offer things to the working classes that the working classes want. The Democrats are in favor of stuff like higher taxes for the rich and upper middle class and free abortions for everyone. What the working classes want from the government are lower taxes on cigarettes and beer, fewer criminal laws that are mostly applied to working class people, God and country in the classroom and simpler tax forms. Pretty much everything the Democratic party stands for now, it stands against what the working classes want. Until you guys face these very simple facts, you're going to keep losing elections. -- Carl
