Japan wasn't strong on Geneva Conventions, human rights and the like. Similarly, Islamic Jihad could hardly complain about the USA removing Mecca, Medina and a lot more besides, such as Malaysia's Islamic Twin Towers in response to the Islamic Jihad mass civilian murder by the destruction of the Twin Towers, aircraft, and the attack on Washington. I believe most Moslems don't feel any particular antipathy to Islamic Jihad. I have been impressed by USA restraint in the face of grave provocation by an organisation and leader [Osama] which have great support in the Islamic sphere. To be arguing over being mean to some books [the Koran] is amazing given what has happened and is laughably pathetic compared with the horrors visited on so many - such as a school full of children at Beslan, all the head-hacking as seen "live" on tv, bombing in Bali and a lot more besides. That Islamic Jihad is taken seriously in such a complaint is a joke. The USA flag is burned regularly by Islamic Jihadists and the local populations cheer in support - they don't arrest the perpetrators. Islamic Jihad is far worse than communism. Communism was a misguided idea of "all together now, be fair and share" which was misappropriated by authoritarian totalitarian thugs. Opposing Gorby and supporting Osama instead was nuts as Gorby was in the process of winding it down. That chicken came home to roost in the Twin Towers, with a vengeance. Gorby should have been supported in sorting out Afghanistan. Then China! Mqurice
